There is something to be said for stability of yesteryear. The new trend of changing jobs every year feels like society's FOMO. Worker empowerment is praised, but it comes with costs. The late 1900s offered job security (lifetime employment was a thing, especially in Japan).

Is the worker really winning? Is the grass always greener?

The current system breeds anxiety. Modern times buzz with change, but simplicity once reigned. How do we find balance again?
