Dropdown

I've been really proud of our team at Ambiki lately (well, not only lately).

As most SLPs know, some pretty significant CPT code changes are coming on January 1. And while there's a lot of information out there about what is changing, I think what most practices really want to know is HOW they're actually going to manage the transition.

You're probably thinking (or worrying) about things like:

  • What happens to all my existing authorizations for 92507? Do I need to get them updated?
  • Are insurance companies even going to be ready to accept the new codes on January 1?
  • What happens if one payer adopts the new codes and another is still using the old ones?
  • Do I have to go through and manually create new service rates for every payer?
  • How are my therapists supposed to remember which codes to use, and how many minutes to bill?
  • How is all of this going to affect reimbursement?

These are exactly the kinds of questions we've been hearing from practices registering for our upcoming live event.

And they're exactly the kinds of problems our team has been working to solve.

I'm particularly excited about some of the creative approaches our developers have come up with. Things like making code selection much more intuitive based on treatment areas and session times, tools to make updating service rates less tedious, and ways to accommodate different payer requirements.

Some of this is still in development, but the thinking behind it is what makes me proud. Rather than just adding 10 new CPT codes to a dropdown and calling it a day, the team is thinking through the entire workflow and how we can take as much of that burden off practices as possible.

This Friday, November 6, we're hosting a free live educational session to walk through the changes, answer questions, and give a sneak peek at what we're building.

You don't need to be an Ambiki customer to attend. And if you can't make it live, we'll send you the recording.
