Flat tire

When you get a flat tire, just have your 4-year-old fix it.

I (partially) kid. We were careful about safety.

But as a parent, I try to intentionally put my kids in situations where they'll learn things they probably wouldn't in school.

Running the self-checkout on their own. Striking up a conversation with a neighbor. Changing a tire.
