My pattern-matching brain has noticed that posting LinkedIn growth stats on LinkedIn seems to be one of the best ways to get impressions and engagement.
So I am excited to finally join the trend.
I recently dug up evidence that I joined LinkedIn all the way back in 2005.
21 years later, I have amassed an impressive 1,206 followers.
That works out to a blistering growth rate of approximately 57 followers per year, or about one new follower every 6.4 days.
Assuming I can maintain this torrid pace, the models are projecting that I will cross 4,000 followers sometime in 2074, right around my 90th birthday.
Huge things ahead.
See you at the party in 2074, LinkedIn friends.
