I've been working on this post since April 2026.
Why, you ask?
Well, I thought it might make a good analogy for personal growth.
Since April, I've taken a picture of the rice field near my house almost every day. From one day to the next, it barely looks like anything is changing. Most days, you probably wouldn't notice a difference at all.
I think our own progress feels like that too. We're so close to it every day that it's easy to feel like nothing is happening. But then you look back six months. Or a year. And suddenly the difference is obvious.
Sometimes we just need to remember to look back far enough to see how far we've actually come.
