We brought our son and nephew to the Mibu Toy Museum this past weekend.
My parents weren't big on video games growing up (or TV, for that matter). So most of my gaming happened at my best friend's house, where he had a Nintendo and, later, a Super Nintendo.
But one thing I did have was this bad boy.
The second I saw it sitting in the museum, I got hit with two very different emotions:
First: an immediate wave of nostalgia.
Second: "Oof. You're old enough that your toys are in museums now."
Nothing quite prepares you for seeing a cherished piece of your childhood displayed like an ancient artifact.
