Arrr, I be humbled and honored to announce a major milestone in me career.

But this post isn't about me.

It's about the journey. 🏴‍☠️

While ye were sleeping, I was up at 4 AM taking cold plunges, sharpening me hook, and building me personal brand. Mostly because me ship doesn't have hot water.

People said I'd never make it.

"Ye've only got one hand," they said.

"Ye're being chased by a crocodile," they said.

I didn't listen to the haters. They laughed when I lost me hand. Now I charge six figures to speak about adapting to change.

I don't normally share me victories, but I've been named Neverland's Top Voice in Pirate Leadership three years running.

Here be 5 leadership lessons the high SeaaS taught me:

  1. Yer crew be yer greatest asset. Until they mutiny.
  2. Don't fear failure. I've been defeated by a flying child for decades, and I still call meself a visionary.
  3. Don't chase treasure. Build relationships with people who know where it be buried.
  4. The best leaders lead by example. That's why I make Smee walk the plank first.
  5. Ye can't improve what ye don't measure. Which is why I've started tracking me daily crocodile encounters in a spreadsheet.

And never underestimate the mysterious tides. One day they carry yer message to 60,000 ships. The next, not even Smee sees it.

Was it easy? Nay.
Was it worth it? Arrr.
